Is AC-A460 an impregnated activated carbon pellet?
No. AC-A460 is an unimpregnated, steam-activated coal-based pellet for general VOC and non-acidic odor duty. Reactive gases normally require a separately selected impregnated grade.
Can AC-A460 be supplied to a target CTC value?
Yes, the quotation can be prepared against a buyer-specified CTC value and related physical properties. Final values, methods and tolerances are confirmed in the signed order specification after sample review.
What information is needed for VOC carbon adsorber replacement media?
Provide the contaminant mix, inlet concentration, temperature, relative humidity, airflow, adsorber dimensions, bed depth, current media, changeout trigger and target service life. This information is needed before a 4 mm pellet can be treated as a serious candidate.
Can the pellets be used for all industrial odors?
Odor chemistry matters. AC-A460 is offered for general VOC, solvent vapor and non-acidic odor duties after application review. Reactive, acidic or highly specific contaminants may need an impregnated carbon or another adsorbent.
